Defining Moments in Art by Mike Evans
Art isn't just for the Louvre and the Cistine chapel! Throughout the twentieth century, the art world exploded with new ideas, movements and artists were keen to express themselves in new and exciting ways. The last one hundred years have seen the classic masters, distinctive icons and rebels who break existing rules and influence new ones. "Little Black Book: Art" covers the key moments of twentieth century art, from iconic to the lesser-known, the movements, events and influencing ideologies, to beautiful and controversial pieces and exhibitions that uncovered new talent. Whether you're a master with materials and light or you have difficulty in telling your paints from your pencils, Little Black Book: Art is an accessible and informative guide that charts the best and most significant events of the ever-changing art world.
