Melissa's work has garnered many awards, including the National Science Teachers Association Recommended Title and the New York Public Library's Books for the Teen Age. Melissa lives in Northborough, MA. Life in a Lake was the National Science Teachers Association Recommended Title.Life Without Light was the New York Public Library Best Book for the Teen Age.
