Dylan Thomas's life and work have made him a legendary figure in the decades since his death, amidst alcohol and debts, in New York at the age of thirty-nine. Paul Ferris was a juvenile prodigy who became Newcastle United's youngest-ever player in 1982, only to have his potential squandered due to injury. He eventually returned to the club as a physiotherapist before receiving a Master's degree and pursuing his dream of becoming a barrister. But the allure of football was too strong to resist, and he returned to Newcastle for a third stint as Head of the Medical Department, where he once again worked closely with a slew of big-name players and managers. Paul went on to write novels and now has a thriving health and fitness company.
