There will be 17 volumes in all, plus a supplement and index volume. Each volume will contain approximately 850 pages, including about 200 tables and 3000 literature citations. Over 100 new subjects will be introduced in the new edition. Coverage will include natural and synthetic polymers, plastics, fibers, elastomers, computer topics and processing.
