Throughout the book, Eric has selected examples to illustrate at a larger size, with detailed annotation. Eric Knowles is a consultant with Bonhams Fine Art Auctioneers in London. He is most widely known for his regular television appearances, which include 25 years working on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow, as well as being the resident antiques expert on Granda television's This Morning. Eric is the author of several books including Miller's Victoriana Antiques Checklist, Miller's Art Nouveau Antiques Checklist, Miller's Art Deco Antiques Checklist, Miller's 100 Years of the Decorative Arts, and Miller's Royal Memorabilia. He remains a frequent contributor to BBC Homes & Antiques magazine, as well as being the Sunday Times antiques expert, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
