A collection of around 50 recipes for savoury and sweet versions of focaccia, the northern Italian flat bread which is now available in supermarkets.Carol Field is the author of five cookbooks, including In Nonna's Kitchen, Focaccia, Italy in Little Bits, Celebrating Italy, and The Italian Baker, as well as a novel, The Hill Towns of Italy. Field has been featured on the PBS series In Julia's Kitchen with Master Chefs and has won two IACP Cookbook Awards and a James Beard Award. She and her husband live in San Francisco, and she travels to Italy frequently.
