Bob Peters, PhD, CEng, FIOA, CPhys, has worked in acoustics and noise control for than fifty years, in teaching, research, and consulting. He works with Applied Acoustic Design as a principal acoustic consultant, is a visiting fellow at London South Bank University, and teaches distance learning courses for the Institute of Acoustics. He is also the author of Routledge's Acoustics and Noise Control, 3rd edition, and the editor of CRC Press's Uncertainty in Acoustics, on acoustic measurements.
