Kaltham Al Ghanem is Professor of sociology and Director of Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at Qatar University. She has worked in several areas of Sociological and Anthropological research in the Arabian Gulf and is the winner of many prizes for her research. She is also currently head of the committee for of the national prize for children's literature and member of the editorial management of Folk Proverbs magazine. This is her first book for children. May Al Mannai is an illustrator and graphic designer who works at Al Jazeera Children's Channel in Qatar. This is her first book.
