Summary

This is a portrait of the Bambers and the Caffells, the inside story of two families into whose midst the most monstrous events erupted, leaving Colin to pick up the pieces of his life not only after the murders but also with memories of Sheila almost shattered by a gutter press hungry for stories.

In Search of the Rainbow's End by Colin Caffell

This is a portrait of the Bambers and the Caffells, the inside story of two families into whose midst the most monstrous events erupted, leaving Colin to pick up the pieces of his life not only after the murders but also with memories of Sheila almost shattered by a gutter press hungry for stories.

Colin Caffell is a sculptor and ceramicist who, in 1985, lost his ex-wife Sheila and their twin sons to the Whitehouse Farm Murders. He wrote In Search of the Rainbow's End in the wake of the press scrutiny that followed. Caffell later became a counsellor and workshop facilitator, specialising in the field of trauma and loss.

He now lives in the far west of Cornwall with his wife and their daughter, where they run their own art gallery. He is also an elected member of the Penwith Society of Arts in Cornwall.
