Using a range of historical and anthropological perspectives, the book traces the parading tradition from the seventeenth century to the present.
THOMAS G. FRASER is a Professor of History and formerly Head of the School of History, Philosophy and Politics at the University of Ulster. He is the author and editor of a number of books, including Ireland in Conflict, 1922-1998.
