This seventh volume provides an in-depth analyses of the issues raised by the European Parliament resolution of 20 October 2020, calling for an EU “Regulation on Liability for the Operation of Artificial Intelligence Systems.” These have now been followed up by the legislative proposals for an AI Liability Directive and a revised Product Liability Directive, published by the European Commission on September 28, 2022.
