Since 1979, Gary Chapman has written more than 20 books. His book The Five Love Languages has sold more than 5 million copies in English alone and has been translated into thirty-six languages, including Arabic and Hindi. His daily radio program, A Love Language Minute, can be heard on more than 100 radio stations across the United States. In addition to his writing and seminar schedule, Gary is senior associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he has served for 38 years. Gary and his wife, Karolyn, have been married for 47 years and have two adult children and two grandchildren.
