Lucky Luke 19 - On the Daltons Trail by R Goscinny
Rin Tin Can, possibly the stupidest dog ever, is left in charge of watching the jail. Obviously, the Daltons escape and steal some horses and guns. Lucky Luke refuses to get involved, but when he witnesses the prison guards' incompetence and Rin Tan Can's remarkable lack of brains, he has no choice but to set out on the Daltons' trail of holdups and burglaries.
Born and raised in Belgium, author Morris moved to the United States in 1946 and stayed six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met Rene Goscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until his own death in 1977. Goscinny also created the IznogoudA" series with illustrator Tabary (published in English by Cinebook) and the hugely successful AsterixA" series with illustrator Uderzo.
