Caja Thimm is Professor for Media Studies and Intermediality at the University of Bonn, Germany. She is head of the project ‘Deliberation on the Net’ which is part of the DFG priority programme ‘Mediatized Worlds’, funded by the German Science Foundation. Mario Anastasiadis is a scientific coordinator of the Graduate School ‘Digital Society’ at the University of Bonn, Germany, and a research associate in the project ‘Deliberation on the Net’ which is part of the DFG priority programme ‘Mediatized Worlds’. Jessica Einspänner-Pflock is a researcher and lecturer in the field of digital communication at the University of Bonn, Germany. She has published on the subject of Twitter in election campaigns, online PR, and adolescents’ sense of privacy in the digital world.
