He holds an MS and a PhD in Entomology and Nematology from the University of Florida, U.S.A. Jade has published papers on Southeast Asian Lepidoptera specifically in the Philippines, and he is the President of the Philippine Lepidoptera Butterflies and Moths, Inc. (PhiLep)..
