Among his many books are Theology of Culture, Dynamics of Faith, and the three volumes of Systematic Theology.
Paul Tillich (1886-1965) was born in Germany, the son of a Lutheran pastor. He is widely regarded as the leading Protestant theologian of the twentieth century.
