To the Elephant Graveyard by Tarquin Hall

A gripping and often moving account of a hunt for a rogue elephant in north-east India.
'This remarkable book is more than just a ripping yarn: it is also a beautifully observed, richly textured portrait of a little visited corner of India..A wonderful book that should become a classic' -- Daily Mail 'A masterful piece of writing, full of suspense and crisis of plot...Above all, Hall is to be congratulated on writing a book that promises humour and adventure, and delivers both' -- Spectator
Tarquin Hall was born in 1969 and has spent ten years living in parts of America, Africa and Asia. Most recently he worked in India for the Associated Press. He now lives in London's East End, where he is working on a book about his experiences, to be published by John Murray in 2005.
