Robert is a successful dog handler in his own right, a member of the UK Registry of Canine Behaviourists, and an associate member of The Companion Animal Behaviour Therapy Study Group. He has also run his own obedience training classes since 1986, and is currently employed as an animal welfare officer for the London Borough of Lewisham. Cecile Curtis is a professional artist, lecturer and sculptor. Her work has involved a variety of subject matter, but it was not until she started writing and illustrating her own books that her great love of animals fully emerged.
