The Second Edition of Cunliffe's Management covers topics that are central to management, organizational behaviour or leadership courses, with updated international content referring to current issues such as the economic crisis and unemployment.

Conceived by Chris Grey as an antidote to conventional textbooks, each book in the 'Very Short, Fairly Interesting and Reasonably Cheap' series takes a core area of the curriculum and turns it on its head by providing a critical and sophisticated overview of the key issues and debates in an informal, conversational and often humorous way.

A Very Short, Fairly Interesting and Reasonably Cheap Book about Management Reviews

'The second edition of Ann Cunliffe's excellent book is an even sharper introduction to the critical study of management. It is again a thought-provoking and insightful take on the ethical issues facing managers in modern organizations. An important, intelligent yet readable book that students will love' -- John Hassard
'Ann Cunliffe brings new life to the most thorny dilemmas of management. Beautifully matched to the historical moment, the second edition tackles complex philosophical ideas and ethical questions in prose even more accessible and practical. Its pivotal trio of managerial practice - relationship, reflection, and responsibility - will inspire managers, students and critics alike. A thin book that delivers a deep read, guiding us all to think and communicate in fresh ways bound to vastly improve organizational life.' -- Karen Lee Ashcraft, Professor of Organizational Communication
