Patricia Farrell is Director of University-Community Partnerships in the Office of University Outreach and Engagement at Michigan State University. As a social worker and administrator in an urban district, she has had extensive experience with school reform efforts. Her current work promotes university-community partnerships to improve children's school readiness through staff development, parent education and community mobilization.
