Sandi Woods is a working lacemaker and teacher. She has exhibited and taught widely in Britain, Europe and the USA. She has won several major awards for her work, and frequently writes for Lace magazine, among other periodicals. She is the author of Special Effects in Bobbin Lace, also published by B T Batsford. She lives in Rochester, Kent.
