A Postcard to Ollis Reviews

Gripping and humorous debut novel from Norway about friendship and family - Achuka; Two books in translation caught our eye. A Postcard to Ollis is an unusual story of a girl struggling to dead with a new tidy- freak step father and baby brother and her journey to find courage that she never knew she had - Angels&Urchins; Filled with glorious Nordic atmosphere, a distinctly different take on the usual 'teen upheaval' tale, but one that's filled with glorious characterisations and a storyline that most teenagers will definitely identify with...brilliantly written with enough neat twists to keep you guessing about its enigmatic central character, this is really fresh and fantastic stuff - Read It Daddy
