About John A. Kaufman

Dr. John Kaufman comes highly recommended by Dr. James Thrall, THE REQUISITES? series editor, as an expert in vascular radiology. He has published an impressive collection of journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts, and co-edited the 1996 Blackwell publication Complications in Diagnostic Imaging andInterventional Radiology, ed 3. Dr. Kaufman also serves on the Editorial Board of the Seminars in Interventional Radiology. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and previously taught at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Kaufman?s vital teaching career, as well as his vast hands-on experience as Assistant in Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), will certainly drive the book?s objective to serve both trainee and practicing radiologists.

Professor Mike Lee is currently Consultant Radiologist at Beaumont Hospital and Professor of Radiology at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He,too, comes highly recommended by Dr. Thrall as an expert in interventional radiology. Professor Lee spent five years (1989-1994) at both MGH and Harvard.At MGH, he held the positions of Clinical Fellow, Clinical Assistant, Assistant in Radiology, and Assistant Director of Ultrasound. At Harvard, he was Clinical Fellow, Instructor, and Assistant Professor of Radiology. Like Dr. Kaufman, Professor Lee is the author of an impressive collection of publications, abstracts, scientific exhibits, and lectures. He, too, serves on the editorial board of the Seminars in Interventional Radiology, as well as the Journalof Interventional Radiology. Further, he is an Assistant Editor of Clinical Radiology. His record demonstrates solid grounding and participation in U.S.-based journals and associations while his international exposure should proveto be an asset in the marketing of this book.
