A collection of texts - including fiction and autobiography - compiled by a principal examiner for a major exam board and designed to fulfil the compulsory 'Other Cultures' element of GCSE. Texts from Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent are partnered by activities which reflect the demands of the GCSE examination while at the same time supporting the development of students' analytical skills.
