British Warships and Auxiliaries (pbk) by Steve Bush

This revised and updated guide to the ships, aircraft, and weapons of the Royal Navy fleet is now expanded to include Royal Marine Craft and Border Agency vessels. The book starts with a no-holds-barred review of the current state of the Royal Navy followed by sections detailing the fleets of the Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, and the support vessels operated under contract. Also included are the vessels of the Royal Marines, Army, and the Border Force. Featuring color imagery for each ship class, this volume also offers silhouettes, class listings, pennant numbers, technical specifications, brief notes. The book concludes with a listing of ships preserved within the United Kingdom and operating in a secondary role after decommissioning, as well as a summary of vessels which have been scrapped since publication of the previous edition.
