Digital Signal Processing by Bernard Mulgrew
This is a comprehensive introduction to digital signal processing, a growing and important area for the aspiring electronics or communications engineer. The aim of the book is to provide an introduction to the fundamental DSP operations of filtering, estimation and analysis. The book will be supported with a website of MATLAB experiments. Lecturer support will also be available via an on-line solutions manual (available via a password). Hardcopy solutions are also available. This work is intended primarily for undergraduate electrical/electronic/communications engineers, but should also be useful for some professional "short courses" that bring engineers educated only in analogue techniques up to scratch in the digital world.Peter Grant is a Vancouver Island native who has published six books and numerous articles about his hometown. He's been to the summit of The Golden Hinde, the depths of Kyuquot Sound, the brink of Della Falls, and the sandstone shelf on the West Coast Path. He owns two Lunenburg-style dories and is an adventurous wanderer.
