Mark Sperring studied at Bath Academy of Art and Camberwell College of Art before working as a printer and a bookseller, and later becoming a children's book author. Sam Lloyd is the bestselling illustrator of books such as Calm Down, Boris and You're Not So Scary, Sid (Templar) as well as the Mr Pusskins series and the Whoops-a-Daisy World series (Orchard). She lives in Brighton.
