Ferris is Professor of Labor and Industrial Relations, of Business Administration, and of Psychology, and Caterpillar Foundation University Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also Director of the Center for Human Resource Management at the University of Illinois.

Sherman D. Rosen is a Management Consultant with Deloitte and Touche and was formerly Vice President of Human Resources at Hartmarx, Inc.

Darold T. Barnum is Professor of Management, University of Illinois at Chicago.
