Frances Barry was born and grew up in Hertfordshire. She is the creator of Duckie's Rainbow (9781406331868) and other books about the lovable duck including Duckie's Wish (9781844288502), as well as the novelty Fold Out and Find Out nature books. She lives in east London, E15.
