Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurde ein Fedbatch-Dialyseprozess zur Hochzelldichtefermentation von Escherichia coli entwickelt. Dieser Prozess wurde in einer eigens daf r entworfenen, vollst ndig in-situ-sterilisierbaren Dialyseanlage, die den hohen Anspr chen der Pharmaindustrie gen gt, erfolgreich durchgef hrt. Die Auslegung des Prozesses und der Anlage erfolgte anhand ausgew hlter Versuche und Simulationen, welche in diesem Buch ausf hrlich erl utert werden. Im Zuge der Untersuchungen wurden zwei neue Wachstumsinhibitoren und eine neue, Abgas-basierte F tterungsregelung entwickelt: das Sauerstoffbilanzprobing.
