After working for the Bible Society Ray Simpson became the first Anglican and Free Church Minister of the Christian Church in Bowthorpe, Norwich to which six streams, both catholic and protestant, are covenanted, and Chaplain to Bowthorpe Community Workshops. He is now Guardian of the Community of Aidan and Hilda. From his house of prayer on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne he facilitates a new cradling of Celtic spirituality through soul friendship, retreats, and resources for churches. He is author of GIVE YOURSELF A RETREAT and his popular books published by Hodder and Stoughton include EXPLORING CELTIC SPIRITUALITY, CELTIC WORSHIP THROUGH THE YEAR, CELTIC BLESSINGS, CELTIC DAILY LIGHT and SOUL FRIENDSHIP.
