Students will discover the major themes and theology of the Pentateuch, the purpose and structure of the texts, the major scholarly questions concerning the texts and how it can be seen as relevant today.
Gordon Wenham studied theology at Cambridge, London (King's College), Jerusalem (Ecole Biblique), and Harvard University. He is Professor of Old Testament at the University of Gloucestershire, England. Among his writings are commentaries on Genesis, Leviticus and Numbers.
