Robert Musil (6 November 1880 - 15 April 1942) was an Austrian philosophical writer.Rivka Galchen, an essayist and fiction writer, is the author of five books. She is a professor at Columbia University and a frequent contributor to The London Review of Books, The New Yorker and The New York Times Magazine.
