From Opportunity to Entitlement by Gareth Davies
Documenting the transformation of American welfare philosophy, this study shows how policy failure, the war in Vietnam, domestic violence and the struggle for black equality combined to create a climactic crisis in national politics which destroyed the promise of the Great Society.
Gareth Davies, Phil Sumption, and Anton Rosenfeld work as part of the organic research and development program of Garden Organic, a charitable organization dedicated to research into, and the promotion of, organic gardening, farming, and food. Each of them has a strong record in practical organic farming research, especially in organic horticulture, and have played a prominent part in the development and sharing of knowledge about pest and disease management in organic farming systems. Gareth Davies is the coeditor of Organic Vegetable Production: A Complete Guide.
