This book is particularly suited to students who need a good introduction to medical microbiology, and also to those working in healthcare professions who may use this book as a quick reference material. Clear and detailed pictures can be found on the photographic plates, which are another bonus. As a recently graduated student soon to enter the field of medical microbiology I have found this book an invaluable revision and reference guide.
