Moving on by James Hewitt
James Hewitt has gone from being vilified to becoming one of the most popular celebrities and desired men in the country. A young, brave and gifted soldier, when James first met Princess Diana, he was a young Guards Captain. He supported and cared for her during one of the most troubled times of her life. When news of their affair hit the headlines, James was cast as the villain of the piece by the newspapers. Recently, in a remarkable reversal of fortune, James has proved his resilience and recast himself both as civilian and celebrity. In 2003, he was runner-up in Channel 4's The Games and this year, he won Back to Reality, cementing his popularity with the public. This sensational book reveals James's deepest secrets and dishes the dirt on what it's really like to live in a confined space with other celebrities.
James Hewitt was born into a military family. At the age of 20, he was commissioned to the Life Guards. He commanded a tank squadron with distinction during the Gulf War and his bravery earned him a mention in Despatches. He left the army in 1991 to pursue an equestrian career in Devon. He has recently appeared on The Games and Back to Reality, which he won.
