Peepshow by Isabel Wright
Peepshow is a play telling the story of seven little lives in one large city. Drawing inspiration from music videos, this is a peep show with a difference, tantalisingly revealing flashes of life from a tower block to give you the taste without the touch of life in a high rise.
"Young peopleHeaps of them. An audience with a strikingly different profile to the average theatre audience: proof that Frantic are at the very forefront of getting 20-something's into the theatre" Financial Times "Frantic Assembly are nothing less than the bleeding edge of contemporary British Theatre" The Stage "When did you last see groups of teenagers at the theatre on their own? Tomorrow's audience for tomorrow's people." The Guardian
Isabel studied Drama at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Previous plays include Speedrun, Waiting Room, Tongues, Blooded, and Initiate. She was Writer in Residence at the Traverse Theatre in 2001 and is currently Writer in Residence at the Bush Theatre. Isabel has been commissioned by the Traverse to write two plays, and she is also writing one for the Bush Theatre.
