The Story of Moses by Leena Lane

The books in this series are activity based - focussing on a person or theme - and include a series of readings, which could be actual Bible text or retold Bible stories based very closely on a child-friendly translation. Here children can find out who Moses was and why he is important. They learn all about the adventures of his life from when he was adopted as a baby, through to how God talked to him and how he led the escape of his people to a foreign land.
Leena (pronounced with a short "e"!) comes from Yorkshire, is half Finnish and lives with her husband and two young children in Reading. She has been a teacher of modern languages, worked in bookshops, and worked as a children's book editor for two different Christian publishers over the past years. She has written mostly for the under-sixes. She enjoys languages, cinema, theatre, model-making and children!
