The Tale of Jack Frost by David Melling

There was once a group of trees who were fed up with living in a deep, dark and crowded valley - so they moved to the enchanted forest. But as everybody knows, trees cannot walk without magic. This is the story of how Jack, the small boy with the frozen touch, wanders in to the forest and ends up saving the magic from the greedy goblins outside. An exquisitely illustrated and beautifully told story.
'Perfect for bedtime or first readers' -- Angela McPherson, Bags of Books Brilliant! -- Child Education PRAISE FOR DAVID MELLING'S PREVIOUS BOOKS: 1. A 'wonderfully comic little charmer ... Melling's illustrations are as snazzy and as snappy as his prose.' - THE GUARDIAN 2 'It's funny and original and an absolute delight to read aloud - a perfect bedtime read.' - THE PARENTS GUIDE 3 'The text is lively but it is the comic book-style illustrations that steal the show.' - JUNIOR 4 'A touching tale about the power of love.' - WATERSTONES BOOKS QUARTERLY
