Jarvis, James: - I create modern art in my RealismPop(TM) style that interprets modern Internet aesthetics with traditional artisan technique. Frustrated with the failures of contemporary art to adequately reflect the nature of modern life I started RealismPop(TM) in 2012. I strongly believe that a true representation of our modern times requires a strong foundation in realistic technique and compositions that are inspired by digitalised imagery found on the Internet. RealismPop(TM) is an ideology that actively looks at the visual aesthetics that dominates our digital age and translates it to new compositions that innovates representational art. The new components of modern aesthetics includes: pixel compositions, data collages, and cropped paintings.
