Westport by James Comey

The new legal thriller from former head of the FBI James Comey. Lawyer Nora Carleton must clear her name when she is accused of murder.
The second novel by James Comey.. drips with authenticity and quality writing. A gripping read * Daily Telegraph, 5* review *
The former director of the FBI confirms with this second novel that he is an expert at twisty crime mysteries... Riveting and authentic, it reads like Grisham * Daily Mail *
Excels in detailing the legal process’s mechanics... good at the human stuff too, conjuring vivid characters and dialogue. Comey cannily taps into the vogue for flaying the super-rich, making his hedgie suspects as nonchalantly nasty as Agatha Christie’s toffs * The Times *
[A] crowd-pleasing blend of financial thriller and Agatha Christie-esque whodunit. A third entry in the series would be welcome * Publishers Weekly *
James Comey was born in New York City and attended the College of William and Mary and Chicago Law School. He worked as an assistant district attorney in New York, prosecuting organised crime figures, and worked on terrorism cases as assistant DA in Virginia. He served as the seventh Director of the FBI from 2013 until May 9, 2017, when he was dismissed by President Donald Trump.
