He was a two-time consensus All-American defensive back at the University of Texas, and he was inducted into the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame in 2007. Johnnie was a first-round pick in the NFL and spent a decade with the Los Angeles Rams as an All-Pro safety. He has three children with his wife Julie.
