The book is divided into 12 chapters covering different religious traditions, each with 31 readings on successive pages. It can be read by most age groups and can be used as a means of education, reference or inspiration, perhaps as an annual cycle of readings. An introduction to each tradition covers origins, teachings, expression and themes relevant to readers today.

Robert Van de Weyer, is the minister of a flourishing Church in Cambridge devoted to the unity of religions. He is also the editor of 'The Global Spirit Library' and over 50 books relating to World Religions.
