Born in 1949, Andrew George Marshall qualified as a barrister in 1978 and was introduced to meditation whilst studying in London. He is a long-established presenter and facilitator of workshops and seminars on meditation and lifestyle, and writes books, articles and blogs on finding happiness and inner peace - precious antidotes to the fast pace of a modern world. He also teaches the oriental arts of taiji and qigong. After a successful career in public service, in which he had a major training and advisory role, retirement has allowed him to concentrate on his teaching and writing work.
