DEBBIE BERTRAM has coauthored several picture books for children, including The Best Place to Read and its sequels. My New Big-Kid Bed is her first solo book. Before writing children's books, Debbie worked in television production at Universal Studios. She loves visiting schools and reading with the students. Debbie lives in Palm Springs, California, and happily continues her writing every day.

TAIA MORLEY is an illustrator whose work has appeared in a variety of children's books, magazines, and on toy packaging. She likes to carry a sketchbook wherever she goes. Taia grew up in Buffalo, New York, and currently lives in Stillwater, Minnesota. Visit her on the Web at taiamorley.com.
