A Book for Bramble by Lynne Garner
A heart-warming tale of friendship and separation. Teasel is a field mouse and his best friend is a hedgehog called Bramble. But hedgehogs must hibernate during the colder months of the year, so when autumn comes, the friends must part. Teasel will miss Bramble terribly but comes up with a wonderful idea - he will keep a diary for Bramble and describe to him the autumn activities of the woodland animals and the delights of winter that Bramble has never known.
Lynne Garner's time is divided between family life, teaching design and sewing, and running a hedgehog rescue service from a shed at the bottom of her garden. This is her first book for children, though she has written seven non-fiction books. Gaby Hansen was born in South Africa where she studied Graphic Design and Illustration for five years. She particularly enjoys sculpture, film and travel.
