"Review from international floral design magazine 'Fusion Flowers' Reviewed by Fusion Flowers Editor Alison Bradley This book has been a labour of love for Su WhaleSeveral years ago she approached me, (Alison Bradley) and told me of her idea of writing a book that would facilitate flower identification. As the years progressed, the original concept developed into something much more and the reality is that Su has created a handbook that should be an essential piece of equipment for every floral art/floristry/gardening student in the world not to mention florists, flower arrangers, brides and hobbyists too. This little book covers more that 140 flower varieties in normal use for arranging and tells you about availability, vase life, tips on arranging in the home and suitability for weddings etc. This is therefore a unique publication packed with straight forward information on how to care and condition over 140 fresh cut flowers both at the florist's shop and/or in the home. We have watched in admiration as Su tackled this very necessary subject matter and have been privileged to watch the project's development. The photography by Mark Follon is quite superb! We have already had some feedback about the book and as one customer said "I wish I had had this earlier - it would have made my college life so much easier!"."
