TERRY JONES read English at Oxford University and retains a passion for medieval literature. As a scriptwriter for the BBC, and later as a member of the Monty Python team, he has been writing and performing comedy since leaving university, and has directed three highly successful films. His other books include Nicobobinus, which was awarded a Silver Seal by Parent's Choice, The Saga of Eric the Viking, which won the 1984 Children's Book Award, and Fairy Tales, also available on Orion Audio.
