The Green Hornet Casefiles by Joe Mckinney

  • The long-awaited return of the Green Hornet and Kato and their rolling arsenal the Black Beauty Back again with all-new stories
  • Moonstone is proud to present The Green Hornet Casefiles, a second anthology featuring all-new, original crime fiction tales of the man who hunts the biggest of all game -- public enemies that even the FBI can't reach
  • It's the mid 1960's, the political climate is shaky, there's civil unrest, freedom and equality issues erupt everywhere from film to music to out in the streets. On police records, The Green Hornet is actually a wanted criminal, a master manipulator, a crime boss who has his fingers in every pie. In reality, The Green Hornet is actually Britt Reid, owner-publisher of the Daily Sentinel. Alongside him rides his partner Kato, who's not only a martial artist of unsurpassed prowess, but a skilled driver, and educated engineer as well. Their goal: to destroy crime from within by posing as criminals themselves

John Everson is a fervent supporter of the jalapeno in the kitchen and an unapologetic enthusiast of 1970s European horror films. He's also the author of the Bram Stoker Award-winning Covenant and its two sequels, Sacrifice and Redemption, as well as six other novels, including NightWhere, an erotic horror tour de force and Bram Stoker Award finalist, and The Family Tree, a sensual backwoods tale. The Pumpkin Man, Siren, The 13th, and the spider-driven Violet Eyes are among his other works. His short fiction has appeared in over 75 periodicals and anthologies over the last 25 years, and he has garnered numerous awards, including numerous Honorable Mentions in the Year's Best Fantasy & Horror anthology series. In 2007, his short Letting Go was a nominee for the Bram Stoker Award, and his story The Pumpkin Man was included in the collection All American Horror: The Best of the First Decade of the Twenty-First Century.

He's written stories for The Vampire Diaries and Jonathan Maberry's V-Wars series, as well as Kolchak: The Night Stalker and The Green Hornet, in addition to his own twisted worlds. AWARDS: Covenant - HWA Bram Stoker Award for First Novel, 2005; Letting Go - Bram Stoker Award Finalist, Short Fiction, 2007; NightWhere - Bram Stoker Award Finalist, Novel, 2013; NightWhere - Bram Stoker Award Finalist, Short Fiction, 2013.
