Van Jensen is a former crime writer for the Little Rock, Arkansas-based Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He went on to work as a magazine writer and editor. Jensen debuted in comic books in 2009 with the critically praised Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer graphic novel series, and since then has written some of the most well-known characters in the industry, including The Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, and James Bond. Cryptocracy (Dark Horse) and Valkyrie Beer Delivery (Stela) are two of his other series. Jensen also writes and directs films and television shows. He was born in Western Nebraska and now resides in Atlanta.
